FCSLA In the Community: Branch Get-Togethers

Branch W045 - Cedar Rapids, Iowa - Annual Picnic

Branch W045 in Cedar Rapids held its annual membership picnic on August 31, 2008. Because of the floods in Cedar Rapids, the picnic was held at the St. Ludmila Parish Center. Over 100 members gathered with friends at the picnic. The meal consisted of roast pig, hot dogs, tomatoes, cucumbers, baked beans, rye bread, cole slaw and kolaches. Chances were sold for drawings for $25 cash. All the money collected is given back in the drawings.
