Christmas Party for Light of Hearts Villa

The FCSLA Cleveland District held their Christmas party for the Light of Hearts Villa (LOHV) Residents on Saturday, December 10th in Bedford, Ohio.

The festively dressed Cleveland branch member – approximately 30 of them, provided a variety of yummy bakery, beautiful Nativity plates and napkins for each table and a gift bag for each resident.

The 80 residents enjoyed entertainment by the LOHV Bell and Voice Choirs, Cleveland Lucina Dancers and the singing of Christmas songs lead by Fr. Gerard along with his comical stories.

One of the residents in attendance was a 1933 graduate of Benedictine High School. Fr. Gerard is also a Benedictine Alumni and current President of the school.

The day ended with Mass celebrated by Bishop Roger Gries.

Sr. Regina sent an email thanking the Cleveland District for the party that was provided for the Residents. “They thoroughly enjoyed every minute. They commented on the beauty of the tables set up, the delicious pastry, the gifts, the entertainment….  May the love and generosity you extend to the Light of Hearts Residents be returned to you double.”
