District #6 – Lake County, IN and Joliet, IL

Welcome FCSLA members and guests to the Helen Kocan District web page. You will be able to discover announcements about our latest upcoming activities, not only for the district but also for the individual branches that make up this fine district.

Helen Kocan, a past national president, organized the Helen Kocan Okres on July 13, 1940, in Whiting, Indiana. Her sole purpose was to bring all the branches together to exchange ideas, develop friendships, increase membership, and learn from one another.

As a district, we meet at least three times a year, participate in St. Anne’s Day, and honor our scholarship winners with a luncheon.
