Chicago District Celebrates Spring!

The Anna Hurban Chicago District welcomed in spring by offering a Spring Fling event and contest through the District’s Facebook connection to members.

Members were encouraged to send in their favorite Spring photo or memory throughout the spring, starting at the end of March through May. Festive spring coloring pages were also sent by branches to their members for those wanting to share their creative sides by coloring or decorating the pages. Entrants submitted their photos, memories, or coloring pages to the District email (fcslachicagodistrict@gmail.com), or by paper mailing them to the District. All entries received were posted to the district Facebook page through the Spring season, ending on Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer.

Each person submitting was entered into a drawing to win one of four $50 Amazon gift cards. Congratulations to the four winners: Cheryl Clements S180, Laura Eichorn S225, Anthony Socha J041, and Patrick Beckman J174! Thank you to all participants who shared their talents.
