FCSLA Chicago visits Hines Hospital

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, approximately 10 Anna Hurban Chicago District members met with approximately 30 U.S. Military Veterans who are temporarily or permanently housed at Edward Hines VA to play Bingo!

Along with their families, the Veterans included former Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force soldiers.  Bingo winners were given coupon books for the local VA canteen, and by the end of the afternoon, the Chicago District gave away $1,000 of coupons to the winners!

Both the Vets and the FCSLA volunteers had a great afternoon of visiting and playing Bingo!
